It has a higt leakage current when it gets turned off, making it unsuitable as an input sensor for the KCX series.
Since the input terminal of the KCX series is for positive logic only, select a 3-wire DC system PNP open collector output sensor or a voltage output sensor with a low leakage current.

3-wire DC system proximity sensor

DC 3-wire NPN open collector output sensors cannot be used due to the specifications of the KCX series.
Since the input terminal of the KCX series is for positive logic only, select a 3-wire DC system PNP open collector output sensor or a voltage output sensor with a low leakage current.
