Replacement of electromagnetic counter
Question
We are using an electromagnetic counter, but we are considering replacing it with an electronic counter manufactured by JTEKT Electronics.
If there is an alternative, please let me know.
Answer
The “count” signal connected to an electromagnetic counter cannot be directly connected to our counter (KCV-4S,KCV-6S).
Install a relay between them, turn the relay on and off with the “count” signal, and connect the contact side of the relay to the electronic counter.
For KCV-4S (KCV-6S), set dip switches 1, 2, 4, and 5 to ON.
