Serial communication is not possible

Question
I am trying to use the serial port of the NX-G30 series to connect via RS-232C, but communication is not possible.

Answer
The serial port of the NX-G30 series can be switched between RS-232C, RS-422 (4-wire), and RS-485 (2-wire).
The default setting is RS-485 (2-wire).
If you want to use RS-232C or RS-422 (4-wire), you need to change the port settings.
For information on pin assignments, see “8.1.1 Serial Interface” in the user’s manual.
How to change the serial port settings
Settings are made on the BIOS screen.
1. Prepare a USB keyboard and connect it to the NX-G30.
2. After turning on the power to the NX-G30, immediately press the “DEL” key several times to go to the BIOS screen.
3. From the BIOS menu, go to Advanced -> iManager Configuration -> Serial Port 1 Configuration.
4.Change COM1 Mode to RS-232C or RS-422.
5.Press the “F4” key to save the settings and exit the BIOS.
