Can’t write to C drive

Question

Question

I am using the NX-G30 series.
When I add a file to the C drive and restart the NX-G30, the file I added is missing.
Similarly, when I change the IP address and then restart the NX-G30, the IP address reverts to its original state.
What’s wrong?

Answer

Answer

The NX-G30 C drive and hidden partition are equipped with the Volume Write Protection function (UWF:Unified Wite Filter), which is one of the features of Windows Enterprise 2021.
(Does not apply to the D drive)
When UWF is enabled, data written to the C drive is written to memory, so the C drive is protected.
When the NX-G30 is turned off, the data in memory is erased, so the data written to the C drive is invalidated.
If you want to write data to the C drive, turn off the UWF function beforehand.
(If you do not want to write data to the C drive after that, turn the UWF function back on.)
For information on how to use the UWF function, see “5.4.2 and 5.4.11” in the User’s Manual.
