How Can We Help?
Notes on moving from DS5 to KPP

Question
I have a device that is running a stage style program using D2-250-1.
I am importing a project backed up with DirectSOFT5 using KPP and writing to D2-263, but many errors occur and I cannot write.

Answer
KPP has a function to check the output, timer, duplicate coil number of counter, and presence / absence of END instruction.
The choice of whether to do these can be set individually.
By default, all are set to “do”.
If you are using duplicate coils in a stage style program, change these settings to “Do not perform”.
For the settings, select the “Convert” tab from the KPP menu, “Setup”->”Option”, and uncheck unnecessary items.
