How Can We Help?
Coin battery consumption is fast

Question
I have a coin battery installed in my D0/D2/SJ series CPU, D4-454, but the battery becomes abnormal after a few months.
Even if you replace the battery, the battery will malfunction again after a few months.
I think the battery life is longer, but what’s wrong with it?

Answer
If you accidentally get the metal fittings of the battery holder caught when installing a coin battery, the + and – poles of the coin battery may become short-circuited and the battery may be exhausted in a short period of time.
Check the condition of the battery holder’s metal fittings.
