How Can We Help?
Replacement of DC voltage output type

Question
A DC voltage output type proximity sensor is used.
I would like to replace it, but I heard that this type of output type is obsolete.
What should I do?

Answer
A DC voltage output type proximity sensor may be replaced with a PNP output type proximity sensor.
However, depending on the specifications of the proximity sensor/connected device, it is necessary to check whether the on-voltage/off-voltage meets the specifications of each device.
Please check the notes.
Notes
This section explains the precautions to be taken when replacing a DC voltage output type proximity sensor with the most compatible PNP open collector type.
