Modbus/RTU Error Code
Question
An error occurs when communicating with an AC servo system using Modbus/RTU.
How can I check the error details?
Answer
Please refer to the error code table below.
The number of data that can be read at one time is 10 words, and the number of data that can be written at one time is 8 words.
Error Code
| Error Code | Error Contents |
|---|---|
| 0x01 | An attempt was made to read/write a group that does not exist. |
| 0x02 | An attempt was made to read/write a parameter that does not exist. |
| 0x03 | The value you tried to write is outside the minimum/maximum range. |
| 0x04 | The number of data you tried to read/write exceeds the upper limit. (Read: 10 words , Write: 8 words) |
| 0x05 | The number of data you tried to read/write is zero. |
| 0x06 | The address you tried to write to is read-only or a parameter whose usage is pending. |
| 0x28 | password error |
| 0x29 | An attempt was made to write to an item that cannot be set while the servo is ON. |
| 0x35 | An odd numbered address was set as the start address. |
| 0x36 | An attempt was made to read/write 16 bits to 32 bits data. |
