Pulse Output
Question
Regarding KSD-Soft’s “Pulse Output” screen, I don’t really understand what the blue squares mean.
Answer
On this screen, set the pulse signal to be output to the pulse output terminals (OA, OB, OZ) of the CN1 connector.
Source of Pulse Output
This will be the signal source selection for the pulse output (OA, OB, OZ) from CN1, and in this setting it will change its Y setting (Bit04-07) of P1.074.
Output Pulse Number
The output pulse number setting is based on the concept of pulse frequency division, with P1.046 being the numerator and P1.097 being the denominator.
Example
If P1.046 / P1.097 = 2000 / 1, 500 pulses will be output from OA and OB in one rotation. (Multiply by 4 to 2000 pulses)
If P1.046 / P1.097 = 2000 / 2, 250 pulses will be output from OA and OB in one rotation. (Multiply by 4 to 1000 pulses)
If P1.046 / P1.097 = 2000 / 0, this is an exception and 2000 pulses will be output from OA and OB in one rotation.
Output Pulse type
A Phase (Before quadrupling)
The setting value of P1.097 will be 0.
A/B Phase (After quadrupling)
The setting value of P1.097 will be 1.
* If you want to change the setting value of P1.097 to anything greater than 1, please use the parameter editor.
By pass
The signal specified as the output signal source as is.
* If the signal source is the motor encoder (CN2), it cannot be bypassed.
